How to process laser engraving ceramic anilox roller?
1. Grind the new or old rolls to a diameter of approximately 0.5 mm smaller than the specified diameter.
2. The ground roller surface is sandblasted to increase the bonding strength between the coating and the base roller, and the bottom layer can improve the corrosion resistance of the anilox roller.
3. A ceramic coating (chromium oxide) having a thickness of about 0.3 to 0.5 mm is prepared by JCTPrint a plasma spraying method. When preparing a high number of anilox rolls, the coating porosity is usually required to be less than 1%.
4. Grind the ceramic coating with a diamond wheel to meet the outside diameter size and accuracy requirements, then polish the roll surface to a mirrored condition. Taking into account the corrosion problem, ensure that the thickness of the ceramic coating is above 300 μm.
5. Use a computer-controlled laser engraving machine to engrave the cells according to the specified number of lines, depth, and graphics. Laser engraved cell shape
