Digital Inkjet Printing :refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image used type of printer which is functioned to create a digital image by propelling droplets of ink onto paper.
Inkjet printers are the most commonly used printer types, range from small inexpensive consumer models to expensive professional machines.
"Inkjet printing" is an integrated printing technology, with a small amount of ink from the reservoir, converting it into droplets, using micro electric pulse to spray ink to the Substrate (paper, film, wood board, glass, floor tile, wallpaper and other materials).
2.Comparison of flexography & digital inkjet printing:
A. Flexography or “Flexo,” a more traditional printing technology developed in the early 1900’s which utilizes flexible relief plates and semi liquid inks, either solvent based, water based, or UV cured.
It is essentially a version of letterpress which can be used for printing on almost any type of substrate.
B.Digital Inkjet Printing technology is non- touch printing, two different production methods.
Digital inkjet printing will replace Traditional Flexo Printing in the next 5 years.
